Generally, the rules regarding items prohibited in hand baggage are the same within the European Union. Nevertheless, the specifics of these rules may vary to a small extent depending on the airline and the country. For further information on whether a certain item is allowed, we recommend that you contact your airline.
Hand Baggage Restrictions
Liquids, Gels and Aerosols

Items allowed in hand baggage:
- liquids packaged in individual containers of up to 100 millilitres or the equivalent thereof, in a resealable transparent plastic bag with a volume of up to one litre so that the contents fit in the bag properly and the bag is completely sealed;
- medicines and special diet foods (incl. baby food), which as of 31 January 2014, however, are subject to inspection. Therefore, we recommend that you pack any baby food and liquid medicines in a manner which makes it easy to take them out of your bag to present to the security worker.
